what would be better a d16y7 with a sohc vtec head or a dohc ZC head? what would make better low end power and what would make higher horsepower?

Your NOT going to put a DOHC ZC head on anything other than a DOHC ZC block. A DOHC ZC is also non VTEC

so your saying there is no possible way to use the zc head well in that case would i need to buy new headbolts for putting a SOHC vtec head and also do i need a headgasket matching the head i get cuz my friend just bought a cometic head gasket for his d16y7 head and it would be a bitch for him to buy a new one

MY BEST BUD IS BOOSTING ON A MINI ME AND THAT **** IS FAST. HE'S PUTTING DOWN A LITTLE OVER 200 WHP @ 6 LBS. BOOST THE SINGLE CAM...
THATS WHAT A GANGSTA WOULD DO. THATS WHY I'M ROCKING A B16 CUZ.

I'M NOT GANGSTA ENOUGH FOR A SINGLE CAM.

Man if you dont got the money to build them then go with the zc. It is a stronger engine before being built imo.

you WILL NOT PUT A DOHC ZC head on another block other than the DOHC ZC. If he wants more power tell him to get rid of the POS turbo kit and get a real turbo and manifold.

Some guy put the D16A1(AKA US DOHC ZC) head on D15 block, and turbo'd, but I think hater-tech killed him off.

theres no way in hell your friend put a dohc d16a1 head on a d15 your crazy and your friend is lieing unless you have pics to back it up.

and for the original poster what the hell do you want man you dont make sense at all what do you want you cant mate a dohc head with a sohc head or vice a versa. plus if he wants cheap tell him to sell his d17 and get a d16y8 and turbo charge that. stop waisting everybodies time and rethink what you asking man.

Goddamn y0! I don't know this dude, he ain't my friend. Stop saying that.

I never said it was a good idea. You see the coolant all over everything? That means the **** can't seal. Ofcourse it didn't/won't last long.
