Default building motor for jrsc

I have read much about people building motors for the jrsc, but What compression would be best to go with the jrsc? My motor is already sleeved with type s pistons. (dont ask why) Well, I wanna charge it to get more power but since i have to get new pistons, Would it be better to go stock 10:1 or should I go lower compresstion than stock?? I wanna build my motor some and supercharge it. Thanks for any info ya have.

Stick with 10:1.

after a while you will get bored of the sc and upgrade to a turbo, both 10 to 1 or 9 to 1 would work good

Most people I know with a JRSC are happy with it. Not everyone wants a turbo.

With that said, if I already had a built block I would get a turbo, not a JRSC. I'd still run 10:1.

Thanks for the info. It's not that I dont like turbo, I've already dealt with it and now i wanna try something else. Soo I wanna supercharge it. I was thinkin of stayin with stock compression too. That way, I can build the motor and run it without the charger until i'm ready for it.

It will have less power, less throttle response.

If your car is a street car, 9:1 doesn't make sense.
