Default JRSC or All motor?

Should I get the JRSC or go all motor? for $4,000? B/c after a while wont i need a rebuild because of the JRSC???? and besides isnt NA better especially for $4,000 I can get cams, springs, etc.

I say you go turbo! Been there (jrsc), and I'm turbo and loving every minute of it.

i dunno if the vortec supercharger is out for the gsr's but i would go for that instead of the jrsc.....

JRSC isn't that bad, u'll still have the same linear powerband that N/A
motors have. Just get a 50shot of NOS to cool the charged air...

and research if u can use the hondata Intake gasket

more than 40k miles on my JRSC... changed 1 belt and thats the only problem i've had.

I'd rather go JRSC than NA. You'll be making more power and the torque curve will be tabletop smooth.

And.. in terms of reliability... I know someone who had a JRSC on their 100k old GS-R. Their compression numbers before and 15k after the JRSC install were exactly the same.

I really like my JRSC. No problems so far and it's great for daily drving.

Ive had the JRSC on for some time now, and for the most part, Im happy.

I'm curious about Turbo ever since I picked up a 90 TSi AWD to play around with, but for the most part, the JRSC provides me with a fun daily driver that I can put tons of miles on and have power on tap when I need it.

Proton - How is the Hondata working out? Have you been to the dyno?
