what do you think of used pistons..

i need to build my LS block fast because i jsut mesed my b16 up i have verry little cash but i can get used R pistons and rods wold it be safe to just put them in the block with just new rings and bearings?

It should be O.K. as long as you measure then to make theres no wear on then. Check the skirts with a caliper to make sure there in spec.

Type r rods are too long, and too narrow on the big end to use with ls crank.
