For those of you pushing 200+whp and or 12.0+ compression
For those of you pushing 200+whp and or 12.0:1+ compression,........What kind of ignition system are you guys using if <U></U>ANY<U></U>. I will be running a hondata system on my setup and was told that I won't be needing an aftermarket ignition system. Hondata is suppose to be able to control my ignition, as I was told.
I'm running a pretty good setup with a 12.5:1 compression and hopefully get 200+whp. I just want to get everybodies opinion about this. Thanks

Wow, that's great. That would save me money from buying a MSD or Crane ignition system. I heard that an aftermarket ignition system is needed if you were running very high boost or very high compression, even with the Hondata. But if the Hondata can do the job with my setup then

Damn, really! I know a guy that was having problems with the stock ignition and he was under 400 whp.

Yeap, same here. A friend of mine had a Prelude with a turbo kit in it and the guys at the dyno shop told him that his ignition wasn't stong enough to to pust out 14 psi. He was not running the Hondata though.

a friend of mine put out 228 whp with 152 wtq with the bisimoto header.
