HELP!!! headgasket problem????
k, I got a d16y8 and Im seeing white smoke comin out of my exhuast. Back when I swapped my intake manifold, I plugged a few hoses in the wrong place (IACV, EVAP, and that sensor on the fuel rail). I drove it down a few blocks to put gas and back home. I realized a lot of white smoke comin out of my exhuast. Then I found out that I got coolant mixed with my oil. I got a diagram for all the hoses and fixed the hoses. Then I drained that oil out, put new oil and filter in with a bottle called Engine Flush (to clean it out). After that, I let the car run at idle for 20 min. Then I drained that oil out, took the filter out and spilled the oil out. Then I put the filter back on and poured in new Castrol 10w-30 oil. Weird thing is that after I poured in 3 quarts, it was already full (checked dipstick). Then I let the car run again for 10 minutes. The amount of smoke was close to nothing. But after I drove it around the block a few times, the amount of smoke was pretty much bad again (more than normal). Also my radiator fan isnt turning on. I unplugged it, added power to it and it worked, but its not comin on after my engine is warm. Which is making my engine pretty hot. People are sayin it could be my headgasket, but theres no oil leaking from the head. What could be the problem? My car is still running strong. Just gettin white smoke from the exhaust and my engine is heatin up.
