Default car wont start after sitting for a week

92 prelude si,
i bought it about 1 1/2 months ago, sat in the driveway until i sell my other car and switch insurance. i usually try to start it about once a week, after sitting a while and starting car would smoke but i hear thats normal. now its been a week or so since i last started it and it wont start at all. it cranks and sounds fine cranking but nothing. windows roll up and down fine, tried to let it roll down my steep driveway and push start but nothing. thought maybe fuel wasnt getting to there so i turned key on and off several times to prime pump, nothing. what can it be? according to the gauge theres about a little more than 1/4 tank left. any ideas? may try to pour some gas in there or iso-heet. i ran out of gas in my hatch before and the gauge said there was still gas

have u tried hitting the gas in what i call accessory mode (because i dont know the exact technical name for it =P, but when u turn the key, before the engine comes on, but u can use every accessory ^_^)... hit the gas a few times, try and get some fuel in there, see if that works. If it worked fine before, and its just sitting there, i cant think of wtf happened=d, especially if its turning over...

okay just sat there and primed the pump(turn key on off several times) and tried to pump gas pedal while in ignition mode. i kept the foot on the gas and tried to start it, sounded like it almost would come on. so i prime it a lot more and give it some more gas while i started, and it came on. so weird, so was the fuel just getting old or icy? car has been sitting but i try to start at least once a week but more like once in 1 1/2 weeks

I'd bet water in the gas from condensation in the fuel tank. Happened to me in houston anyway...

Check for fuel and spark... fuel pressure and volume...spark at the plugs..spark at the coil (external) note:pumping the gas does not prime the fuel pump...the pump primes one time when you turn the key into the accesory stage, this aint yo daddy's 72' caddy. also check to see if you have condesnation built up under your rotor...if you have a bad gasket there and it is wet out moisture can build up and prevent the wires from gettin power.

oh yeah the car started but idles around 900rpm and shakes, i kept revving for a while around 2500-3000 to think maybe warm it up or something, idle rose slightly to 1k and shaking kind of went away, the idle is too low and the cars shaking now, any ideas?

yea, it's probably just a little water in the tank. i was gonna ask if you were getting any spark, but i see that you got it to start. after you killed it would it crank back up again without priming it?
