Default performing 5gen auto to manual swap starter question

If I use a f22a 4gen transmission, do I use the starter for that generation? Reason I ask is because isn't the connecting plug in the starter is different for a obd1?

is there even a plug on the stater. its a bolt for power. and one wire for the solonoid right? I believe the wire just has a female blade connector on it.

Id use the starter that fits on the tranny. I dont think a 5th gen auto starter would fit on a 4th gen manual tranny but might as well try if you dont have the other.

Thanks! I was confused with the b-series swap alternator's plug...also the flywheel should be the same as the transmission I'm getting or stick with a 5gen manual h22a flywheel?
