Hey guys,
All of a sudden my SRS check light had appeared. I took it to Honda and they said the driver inflatory system failed. The airbags have never deployed or anything. The sensors are fine, but for some reason they're wanting me to change the whole driver airbag. I was just wondering if anyone with a similar experience can give me any information? The previous owner had installed a momo steering wheel but put the original SRS back. What could be wrong?

Honda charged me a ridiculous price, totalyl rediculous to replace it.
The car is a jdm ek4 hatch from Japan..

Sorry no clue maybe the fuse poped.
I always try to check the cheapest easiest thing first.

 

EK4's came with airbags? I guess you can try to reset the SRS light.

 

yeah its a 99 ek, how do you reset the srs light?

Everything has to be fixed in order for you to reset it... If its the same as the USDM bag I would just buy a used airbag and reset the light if there really is something wrong with it
