They both suck.

Ceramic may retain heat a little better but it's hardly much of a coating.

It's about the only option for the H23 unfortunately. The good thing about the ceramic one is that the flange is coated too and stops the rust a bit while the mild steel flange of the SS will rust faster. The SS looks nice at the beginning but stains quickly. Some people don't like the color after, some do.

A small bump in mid-high range but nothing crazy.

You might want to save your money for suspension mods/turbo/H22A swap. You won't notice any real difference outside of the placebo effect w/ h23a bolt-ons.

The Megan Racing SS Header (DC Sports knock off) is good as I heard. It's cheaper too and identical to the DC Sports. Thinking about getting one for myself too.

Here's a link for you:

This review was for the H22 but I guess if it's good enough for the H22 it'll be good for the H23.

I just received my DC Header yesterday. It looks alright, for what it is, but it is definitely no SMSP or Mugen. I doubt i will see any real gains out of it over 5 hp.

Go with the ceramic coating and modify the collector
