Moving the Climate controls
I want to move the climate control to my armrest in my crx. What parts do i need to do this. Can I just extend the wiring but what about the cables. Can i get longer cables to move it. Anyone ever do this please let me know thanks.
I want to move it there so i can put a screen in i am really good with fiberglassing and molding things. i just am curious if i can do it with the wiring and such.
It ain't gonna be easy...
There's only one pair of wires...the temperature control ****. And it's notoriously weak. Best bet would be to remove it altogether and have the wires run to a simple slide type of control(left end is hot, right end is cold.
The rest of the buttons are electric. I imagine you could track where each pinout on the back of the cluster goes and run a wire extension.
It's going to be a lot of work with the potential for the results to look or work like ***.

thx Vince.
i'll have a couple of gauges, my turbo timer, misc bs switches in that "panel"
to further explain it. the cold and hot turn dial is on the driver side of center console. and if you can tell on the front panel (bottom right and 2 silver screws holding it) the 1,2,3,4 blower speed switch is up and down.
