Will 96-98 climate control fit into a 95 civic?

the actual climate control. The thing that lets you turn on the heater and a/c. My current climate control is all busted up and missing ***** and I can get a 96-98 relatively cheap compared to the 92-95

by extensive mods do you mean wiring? I just want to replace the climate control itself, not the dash the climate control is housed in.

I want to put this in.

I have been trying to find rear view of the two climate controls to see what the wiring looks like but I cannot find any. I know people put the 92-95 in their crx.

Will not mount to the dash properly and the wiring is different. I have both and can send you pics of the back if you like but it won't help. They mount completely different and are diff shapes.

OK, What all do you want pics of? Just the connectors on the back of the climate control? Would you like a pic of the wire harnesses that connect to the climate control? It maybe tomorrow before I can get you the pics, Its about 3 below zero here and I don't feel like digging them out of the garage.

The back view of the climate controls and the connectors. If you have the wire harnesses a pic of that would be cool too. Yea if it was that cold I wouldnt want to be in the garage either. There is no rush.

OK, It appears I was wrong on the wiring. I took a eg harness and put in on the EK Climate control. Fit perfect and has the same pins. I can't believe I didn't notice that before. Anyhow, while that is the same as you can see the EK control is much larger & diff shape that the EG:

yea it is bigger. But I can get it for 15 bucks and I cant find any thing cheaper than 45 for 95. So I will just pick this up and put it in. Thanks for the detailed help. I just started to get a cel and its 9. I know its cyp cylinder position. I cant find the trouble shooting in the helms I have, but I can in the helms for my rex. Would the testing procedures be the same?

You should be able to find the correct 92-'95 Civic climate control for pretty cheap on eBay or the junkyard. First gen Odysseys should also work IIRC.
