i recently got 99 all red tails with the the light bulbs and harness as well.. i have a 94 integra i had no idea there was a difference in wiring.. well the ugy i swapped tails with keeps putting me off whe i try to get my 94 tail light harness now for over a 3 weeks now....

currently my tail lights are reversed meaning when i turn my parking lights on my tail lights are bright as if brakes are being applied and when parking lights are off and i press on the brakes the lights illuminate faint as if my parking lights are on... basically reversed.. has anyone had any luck repinning the plugs or rewiring them back to normal... i am tired of BSing with this guy about getting my old harness back...

why did you cut your harness and give it to the other guy?

 

i didnt cut my harness..... the bulbs have their own wiring harness with a plug that plugs into the cars main interior harness... when you remove tail lights the bulbs come out with them with their own wiring... apparently obd1 cars and obd2 cars tail light harnesses are repinned differntly and i never knew that until after i switched.. but i figure since the plugs are the same then it should be just a mattter of swapping wires around on the plug by repinning... just like depinning ecu plugs and repinning them but i dont know what color wires mean what
