Question about rust..don't know if this is the right forum but hell ill try!
I found a 93 Accord and the paint near the rear bumper right by the wheel is bubbling up. How bad is this??
Any tips that you guys could give me about how to stop this from spreading?

It depends on how bad the rust is, if its a little surface rust something as fine as 180 grit might do the trick. If is it starting to rust through you may need to weld in a patch, grind it lightly with 36 grit and then apply some body filler sand it to contour then prime. If you take some pictures I could help you out more

cut it out. I'll bet big money that its rusted all the way through. You'll never be able to sand down to clean metal.
ditch the trim for certain.
expect to spend big money if you don't DIY it.

ill get pics when i get the chance..i bought the car but im waiting for the owner to get the title for me..so the car isnt really in my possession yet. the rust hasnt gone through. however it did go through right be the right door handle.. just around the handle trim you can say..should i just find a right side door at the junk yard or is it worth repairing??
