I have no clue if this is an awesome thing or a bad thing. At the moment my temp. needle is less than half of the bottom half of the gauge. I thought most cars after they warm up, the needle just sits maybe 5mm below the middle mark? well it happened when I realized my car was running low on fluid. Since my last flush I put more water than coolant, I decided that I try putting some more coolant to fill it up to the line on the reservoir. If the thermostat is broken I should be overheating right? so what does below normal mean?

 

t-stat is stuck open,replace it.

 

in my 96 4dr dx it stays at 1/4
