Newb Question
I was browsing on Tasauto and came across The Jet Performance V-Force module. Im not really to familiar with this brand. I was wondering if any1 could shed some light on it for me....?
Basically what it does is re-calibrates, or maybe just takes over your fuel & ignition map that is programed into your computer, to be honest it problably isnt worth your money until you have some decent mods. You prob. wont feel a difference with just the module... honestly ive never heard anyone using this. but i have no idea... if i were you i would just save for an H22..
heres some info from the site... "The JET V-Force Power Control Modules (PCM) use the same computer tuning technology found in JET's popular domestic tuning products. A 20Mhz RISC microprocessor optimizes the ignition spark advance and recalibrates the fuel map for optimum horsepower and acceleration. The module provides a modified ignition curve, recalibrated Air/Fuel ratio for maximum performance and improved 1/4 Mile times. It has an LED read out and an On/Off override switch. Fits LX, DX & SE model non-Vtec Accords only." thats my $0.02 peace.

The thing about the 'domestic motors' is V8 motors are largely inefficient and Honda motors can make 100hp/liter easily. The gains wont be near as large because Hondas are tuned to such perfection...

cudnt have said it better myself, thats why u seen those V8s gaining 50-100+ HP from a few minor mods and hondas only getting 2-20(if ur lucky)
