Will my B16A2 water pump work on my LS B18A
yes it will work but your going to have to buy a B16 timing belt. the LS water pump has 19 teeth and the vtec water pumps(b18c,b16) has 22 teeth. so if you use a vtec water pump you have to use a vtec timing belt.
yeah i just put on a brand new timing belt and waterpump on the b16 and i dont wanna waste it. So if i can use b16 waterpump/belt on the ls block/gsr head im good.

Damn. I have a freakin brand new B16 waterpump and belt. And i cant freakin use it. Well i can use the pump, but I have to use a GSR belt? If the blocks are the same size, but the head is only slightly taller, why wouldnt the belt work? It would take away a LITTLE deflection on the belt.
whoops. my bad. i was always told that the blocks were and that the heads were different.
Okay, so.... with my b16 waterpump on the LS block i have to use a GSR timing belt?. Ive heard a couple diff. answers thats why i ask again. lol.
