Got an offer on used Crower Stage 1 App for $80, what you think
Alright, like it says I got an offer for some Crower Stage 1 cams for my 97 LS, I did a search on them and they seem to make some difference. Can't find any charts on these though.
The question is do you think I should buy these for my Integra. The cams have been through three motors, a stock LS, a CRX with LS swap, and CRX wit a B20 swap. The cams are about one year old and they have been pushed a lot. I haven't got a chance to take a look at them yet, but the homie who's sellin them is doin a new setup.
I heard that it takes away some horses but adds torque. Right now I have a stock setup with home mods, and gsr tranny/clutch/flywl. I wont buy any rods/pistons. Have a turbo going in over summer but wasn't planning on getting turbo app cams for them.
Are springs/retainers strongly recommended for these cams, and can the stock rods and pistons hold up with them? I will be running stock ecu. Have any of you had experience with these, and why might the price be so low on them? How exactly does adding torque by reducing hp work?
I don't want to buy them if they do more harm on my motor then produce on it (on stock internals that is). I will update you as soon as I take a look at the cams for myself.
I know I threw a lot out at you guys but any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

for stg 1, its not needed but recommended, stg 2 its required. first take a look at them to see any abnormal signs of wear. then go from there
