Mike K, I have a couple questions about the 30K mile check-up
What exactly does Acura do when this is done? Also, Can I do it myself? And.. Do you have a package you sell? I am at 33K, should I get my valves adjusted. Thanks, Ryan
30k consists of air filter, valve adjust, brake fluid flush, oil change, and rotate/balance.
You could do the valve adjustment yourself.
Are you the guy who works at Devoe Cadillac?
Reason I ask is, there's not many white ITR's around here.

No, I work at The sports authority. Just got the car a month ago. Yours is the one with the CF hood, right? NICE! Arent you supposed to do cap and rotor and spark plugs? How hard is it to do your own valve adjustment? Thanks, Ryan
Rotor is not a bad idea (Use a genuine one.) Adjusting your valves isn't very hard at all if you spring for the tool. (either Snap-on or the Honda one.) You only replace distributor caps on these cars if something is specifically wrong with the old one. Just clean the little deposits off the 4 terminals and re-use the current one...

On a factory ignition system, distributor caps RARELY take a .
MSD seems to put more wear on the cap and rotor.. but on a stock motor, only the rotor needs replacement more frequently.
