Just installed STR cam Gears,rode it to my house then i was going to play with the FPR then noticed that 1 cam gear bolt was loose, then check them, 4 bolts of each cam gear was loose , just runned it like 1/2 hour without revving it more than 5k ,i thigthened them then 1 if the bolts came loose, checked and it taked out the thread of the gear, are those imitations or something like that????or maybe i overtightened them ??????? is there a torque spec for the bolts?

 

Holy crap man, you gotta learn how to use the spell check and learn how to type in full sentences so we know what you're saying. Those bolts do have torque specs and should have said what they were in the instructions. Also it's usually a good idea to use some loctite on the threads to make sure the bolts don't come loose again.

 

sorry for my spelling , we talked spanish here so i have no way of practice my english, they dont came with any instructions or torque specs sheet

 

lol, no problem dude. I think the torque spec is something like 8 ft lbs but I would go to the sponsors section on here and find someone that sells Buddy Club products and email them to get the exact torque specs. Anyone else here know exactly what they are?
