weird shaking??

Default weird shaking??

well i have a 1999 base prelude and its the automatic with power shift. What happened is that i was messing around with it and this has happen alot now, when i floor it in first and 2nd once it gets to about 6500 it feels like the engine is shaking like it redlined? but redline isn't till like 7 sumthin? so why is it doing that? does ne1 know? sorry to bother u if this is just something dumb that has nothing to do with the car, but rather me. thx for the help

check ur axles. does it make noise when ur driving, posible wheel bearing, but doubt it at this point

no i mean i was just testing it out to see how quick it was and at 6500 rpms it kinda starts shaking like it would at redline but after i tried again it didnt do it so iono wats wrong why it does it in the first place?

Where do you live in Oak Grove, I live on the border of Oak Grove... I'm no mechanic but an in person look would help.

I work in Blaine and get off at 4:30, we should meet up at the Bill's Gas Station off 22 and round lake.

Could be the tranny is starting to fall apart like the rest of them.I had a problem like that,the torque converter started to come loose due to the components inside falling apart. But before u get to that check the obvious,tires could be out of balance,bad axle.If they check out then look at the trans..

yeah ill check but i'm pretty sure it's not the axle's the shaking i'm talkin about isn't the car shaking its just the engine like once u redline ur engine shakes? unless im a retard? =\ yeah thanks for the help though ill check it all out

Are you sure it's not the rev limiter cutting in ? because the tach can be quite a bit off. Also have a real good inspection of all your engine mounts particularly the back one.
