Well the day is almost here, finally....jdm b16a into my 98 ex. im hella excited. the motor came today from import auto salvage...randy = from me!! The motor looks so clean, can't wait to have it installed. In any case, i have a question. unfortunately, the downpipe is missing (the piece from the exhaust manifold to the cat). i am getting one here, but it wont be here until saturday. will my d series one work??? let me know. and any other tips let me know..

RAndy sucks!!...jk..I'm glad to hear that you bought a swap through "Import"...those guys are cool. If I were you..considering you are soon to get the missing part, I would wait and put on the correct downpipe. A few more days won't hurt. Tips...let me see. First of all, if swapping motors is a first for you, be very careful you don't damage any sensors or parts (distributor, alternator, starter, etc...) and I would suggest double-checking yourself or have someone there with experience to lend a hand. Two heads are better than one.. Good luck!!
