Blown Motor = Swap time. Questions.
I have a 96 CX hatch. I just blew the stock D series motor last week, and with it being tax return time, I figured it's as good of a time as any to do a swap. I could use some recommendations. I'm leaning toward a B16a at the moment. I have it priced at $1,500 with the tranny pretty much everywhere I search. Assuming I install the actual motor myself, then take it somewhere to get wired, anyone have a ballpark as to the total cost of the swap? Also, what obd/year would be the best/easiest to find/install? Time and money are always an issue, so what other swap might be a good idea? Thanks for the help.
