Default 97 H22 crank in H23a1?

Need help!!!

Bought a 92 lude, drove 4 3wk spun the bearing.........crank all scratch, bend a rod

Found a 97 H22 crank, wonder if it fit the H23a1?
If it does, what size bearing do I need?
Do I want to buy a new set(4) rod or just one? I am worry tha they might not be balance.
Any suggestion on what type of rod to get? Since I am pulling the piston out anyways might take this chance to do anything I can to up the horses. Maybe stoking it with other H-series part?
Suggestion on piston? Type S lude's I guess??
What other stuff do i need to complete the job... gasket...new this new that.....??

Thanks in advance for all reply.

The h23 and the 97 and up h22 motors have a different crank, the h23 has smaller crank journals so you cannot put that crank into a h22a4 97 + motor. same goes for the 97 crank in an h23... you might as well replace all four rod bearings, see if your crank spins freely, might want to consider getting arp head studs also. you deffinately need a new head gasket and whatever else you feel like changing... its all on you...
