hey im a newb and im about to be passed down a 00 civic. wondering how much it would cost for some paint ( repainting) rims tint windows and maybe a new muffler and turbo kit?

Now

A good paint change will cost anywhere from 1500 to 2000
Rims it depends on what you get. I got some REALLY clean 99-00 Si wheels for $400
Tint...mine cost me $120
Same thing with the muffler, it depends but I would suggest you stay away from that stuff. It won't do **** for your car (unless it is an Si) except 1-2 hp on the buttdyno (judging your power through your ***) and a really loud car.
And the turbo kit.......I suggest you piece on together. It's much cheaper and you get the parts you want, NOT what they give you.

 

Hi there, Sorta new as well. Sounds like you're getting a nice car. Why not call around? Every shop that does those services is different, So its gonna be pretty hard for people to just up and tell you. Search your yellow pages too!

It's called VTEC and nothing else. Not vtech, vtek, v-tech, v-tec or any other combination you can come up with. If you call it anything besides VTEC you will have a bunch of HT'ers up your ***.
