new to forum. 1982 Honda civic wagon. need ideas
Hello everyone.
I am new to the forum and looking for some good ideas on getting my 82 civic wagon back into show ready. New some ideas on Rims, fender mirrors, coil overs, radio and speaker system etc. And also, this car only has 97k miles
Has been parked. In need of serious paint job
Everything is all factory
Already have in mind into getting redline weber for this car.
Kept factory am/fm radio and just added a radio underneath. Wired for amp and speakers already. Had 2 6x9s in the trunk.
Still factory everything.

Be prepared, most things on these cars are not as simple as just buying it and bolting it on. With the '81 sedan I had, I had to modify aftermarket suspension components to get what I wanted.

BC Racing makes coilovers - but they're $1000 and won't even work for the rear on wagons. Stretch7 said on my thread that he flipped and removed a couple leafs from the rear. Check out the 2nd gen group on Facebook, a lot of discussion goes on there as well.
I would look to keep 13-14" wheels - tires will be harder to find but IMHO it will look a little better. Your front seats are in way better shape than mine and it looks like a very different AC Compressor.
Cool find though. If you get rid of your rear splash guards or rear license plate holder give me a shout! lol.

Edit: As for rear speakers, I grabbed a pair of Indoor/outdoor speakers from Goodwill and ran the wire underneath the rear seat and under the carpet following the stock wiring up to under the dash for my rear speakers.
You can see them here.

Damn. All that money and can't even use them.lol. I had cut the front springs and I have 2in blocks on the back. I follow the Facebook page.a lot of good stuff there and a lot of people changing the car completely. I had 17s on before but ended up seling them. I've had the car since 2008. I even have the stock spare tire under the car. I need to polish them up so they look better.
