Oil in Spark plug Chambers???? and HID Retro question...
Hey so I got this annoying clicking noise that sounds like change in my distributer and so I checked all wires etc and came across oil in the chambers for the spark plugs and was curious could this be a gasket problem from the valve cover ring gaskets that go around the spark plug chambers that is causing the oil to leak into the chambers. About the clicking I know I need a new cap and rotor so I'll get around to that later on. Also does anyone know a good place to find some e55 projectors and a hid kit for it to retro into my teg....

For your HID question; check ebay or HIDplanet.com for the projectors and kits. One word of advice, try to get an oem kit because OEM is always better in terms of reliability. I got my projectors from ebay.....and do not limit your search to E55 projectors. I used A6 projectors, as well as Skafia, and they are really good projectors and very easy to find.
If you need instructions for the retro, just do a search under my name

the same thing happened to me...i went to change my spark plugs and found oil in 2 of my chambers.....just replaced the valve cover gasket/spark plug tube seals/etc and everything was cool from there.
yeah I figured it was the little ringlets that go around the chambers. About the HID's though I've been looking on hidplanet a bit and as far as the a6's go that just seems like to much work for me in order to retro them and as patrick was saying the e55's are pretty much drill holes and mount them kinda simple so I figured I'd just stick with that for now.
Thanks for the help,
