5w20 motor oil???
I accidently bought and put in 5w20 motor oil. Will this affect engine in anyway or can I just leave it in there? Or shoud I just go buy 10w30 and drain out the oil and put the new oil in

i say the other way around.. would be thinner than most others in at any temps
and no, stick with 5w30.. you'll be fine for light driving using 5w20, but that oil offers less protection at high temps

it just wont cut it.
Oil change outlets have lossed alot of money replacing motors due to the incorrect oil placed in their engines. I dont know the technicalities just yet but as soon as I do, Ill update you all.

I know it's not a proper way of determining the thickness. but just for shitsngiggles if one were to shake a bottle of each that person would be able to hear/feel the difference.

you'd be just fine.. i'd suggest 5w30 if its cold weather. 5w30 is good all year round for stock/nearly stock hype r
