Well i just got my tax return, and i was planing on buying some stuff for my engine.
so far all i have is bolt on. Now I am thinking of doing some CTR or ITR pistons. If i do pistons do i need to upgrade the rods? I am only doing this for a little more power during daily driving. I am not going to boost or spray, when i go to the track. I am also thinking about cams, and al the valve train to compliment my pistons.
How much power do you guys think these mods will yeild? what is the highest compression i can go on pump gas? any other suggestions I might have missed?

IMO the pistons are not the way to go if you want just a lil more HP. Get some cams and a nice PnP head job. The cost of labor is a lil more than just installing pistons, but the expandability is huge. Say in a few you wanna boost build up the bottom end and you will have a good setup hope that helps

 

well I am deffinetly not going to boost or spray. So i think high compression would be the way to go. what you think?
