Default Question about Oil in Cylinder Head

Also, my D16a6 has no knock sensor (unless that is the oil pressure sensor) on the block for my OBD-1 Computer to hook up to.

Thanks in advance,
Jon

U should use a obd-1 P28, if u do that, u dont need a knock sensor. About the "oil supply", are u doing a mini me? If so, just bolt the head on the A6 block and thats pretty much it. Do a search on it man.

You have to remove the oiljet from the block because the d16z6 head already has one..If you dont take out the jet on the block you wont have vtec,,And thats the whole point of a mini-mi..To have vtec

What obd1 ecu do you have that requires a knock sensor??,,
Get a p28 to run it best

For your information, that isn't the oil jet. That picture i posted up has to do with the rocker arm assembly. There seems to be a threaded hole on the distributor side of the rocker arms.

Yes I am doing a mini-me consisting of a Z6 head on an A6 Block. As for the knock sensor, I figured out what it went to. (seeing I have an a6 block and I am using a P28 ecu thanks) I have all the vacuum hoses connected on the intake manifold.

All I was asking (since I wasn't very clear) is there a bolt which goes into that threaded section on the assembly? (It has nothing to do with the oil squirter found on the block)

Thanks again for your time,
Jon

We know. About the "knock sensor," there isnt one on the block. You must be getting it confused with something else.

BUMP for the threaded bolt hole question, i dont mess with sohc's.

There should be a bolt that goes there.

Sweet, can you get a close up of the bolt. I just want to see if I can pick up one from the yard or from someone on the board. That is exactly what I was looking for
Or you think im better off just putting any bolt in there.

looks like a 12mmx10x1.25...in other words pick up any 12mm honda bolt you have and hand tighten it so you know it fits and then hit it with a rachet.

Well i found the bolt, looks like all the other headbolts but its in a small head with a larger diameter bolt about 1/2" long. I don't think its to hold down the cam, it seems like it plug sup a chamber that is in the head. Maybe its for testing purposes? Haha.

Thanks again to all those who replied. It helped me alot!
