i was wondering if anyone knew how to convert a set of wrx fuel injectors to fit an jdm h22. im planning on going turbo so i need a good set of fuel injectors and a friend of mine is upgrading to 1000cc from his current 800cc. so if possible he is willing to sell me these for next to nothing.

Aren't Scooby injectors side feeds?

 

The motor is horozontally opposed(flat four design) But I would think the injectors would be set up the same way.

 

I'm familuar with the engine configuration, was watching injectors be installed in one last week... they were side feeds.... But it also was an 05 STi..

That's why I said I imagine thew wrx one would be the same.

 

well unfortunately, it doesnt matter any more. for me anyway. the injectors are long gone. sold

 

No the injectors for the subaru are not side feed injectors. They are top feed just like the honda injector. However they are shorter in length. So in a subaru if you want to install the injectors you would have to build spacers for the subaru. The top oring and lower o-ring are the same dimensions. So they will bolt right up as long as you build spacers. Now if you are going the other way around and putting subi injectors in a honda you would have to lower the fuel rail.

Hey how would I go about makin spacers for em. I have a set of injectors i was gonna throw in my Teg but if they fit in my suby Ill put em in there.

 

The 2004+ Subaru STi is a side feed injector however the injector he is referring to is a top feed.

Just a spacer to raise the fuel rail. Machine a peice of aluminum to put under the stud.

 

Ahhh.. all is clear now...

I assume wrong I suppose...
