Default What can i do about the O2 code i keep getting. Please make it stop.

Ok ive got an 88 crx hf with 91 si ecu and mpfi and d16y8/y7 with a 1 wire o2 sensor.
I keep getting the code 1 cel. But i cant find the car to be running bad.
I tried to unplug it to test it with a voltagemeter. But i sadly cant get the harness unplugged. how come they never put that **** in the manuals!
Now i know you guys are gonna say just switch to obd1.
Well i will but i wont be able to do it for a couple of months.
I just want to fix this problem so i can see if the ecu is throwing any other codes . cause it wont let me get past the code 1. Just keeps blinking about every 1-2 secs.

If it was throwing more than one code you would know. It would go like this:

For example code 1 and code 8

(Blink pause 8 Blinks pause Blink pause 8 blinks) and it would keep repeating this pattern.

Just replace the O2 sensor and you should be ok.

well if it is throwin more than one code i wouldnt know because of the way it blinks
it doesnt keep a good beat. first blink is fast (the instant i turn on the car) then the gaps
are sometimes 1 sec sometimes 1 and 1/2 sec. Its confusing.
Anyway i could bypass the o2 (without a chip)

Plus, i cant get them damn thing unplugged from the harness. Anyone know how to do this. I know it sounds stupid
