DPFI, dual point, does only have two sensors inside the distributor - TDC and CKP.
MPFI, because its sequential, needs to know where the #1 CYL is - hence the additional sensor.

are the ecu codes the same for 92-2000? cause when i checked the code off the sticky it was for 92-96 civics. i dont own a honda so i wouldnt know. just trying to help out a friend. but the 92-96 civic ecu code book says code 9 is CYP- cylinder sensor...
