from personal experience if you keep the the cat in place it is not bad at all. i have heard many people ramble on how it is an extremly loud exhaust blah blah but once i installed it i was very pleased with it. it does not drone that bad once you get up too speed and are just cruising. you can listen to your radio at a decent level and still hold a conversation with your passenger or someone on the phone no problem. i love everything about the exhaust from the look of it down to the design where they use springs instead of flanges. keeps it real light. i highly suggest purchasing this. good luck with your decision

you have to purchase the type r exhaust for an integra application, however there is a little modification needed to put it on. you have to cut the flange off the b pipe where it connects to the cat and basically cut about 4 inches off the b pipe and reweld the flange back on. so your just shortening the b pipe about 4 inches. i got it done at a muffler shop for free!
