looked and couldnt find anything with search...i have an d16y7 out of a 99 civic...i am going to put it in my 95 civic coupe...actually ive already put it in...i need to know what tranny bracket will fit the swap and what harness i need to use..do i use the IM thats on there...a buddy said i need to put an OBD1 mani on it...but i tried and it doesnt fit...please...want to get swap done by tonight...any help is appreciated...thanks in advance
You can put the D16 in using the original mounts off of your original motor. Harness-- use the OBDI harness and just change out the connectors at the sensors, distributor, alternator, etc...from the OBDII car/engine bay harness. Remember the OBDII does not have an ENGINE harness. I don't care what anybody wants to call it...there is NO ENGINE harness on these motors. Just use the OBDII manifold but change out the sensors plugs that don't fit.

You cannot use the OBD2 Y7 intake manifold due to the issue with the 3 wire IACV and they can't be switched out because the design is different. You will need to use the OBD1 intake manifold.
