Default kinda dumb question on WBo2 bung placement

The instructions say to mount it 24" from the turbo exhaust housing. Well, for me that places the bitch right underneath my intermediate shaft. Which gives me clearance issues, the sensor WILL hit the I-shaft. Can i have the bung/sensor mounted that it is positioned at 10 o'clock instead of the striaght up 12 o'clock position?> Or will i not receive accurate readings? thanks

it dosn't have to be exactly 24" from the turbine housing. i have mine 10"-12" down the down pipe and its fine. On some cars ive mounted them down below the fire wall, no probs. i would pick a spot that can easily be reached without jacking the car up.
