Well dude, that sounds like a bad combination unless those are the only parts you have. People switch from LS trannys to b16 trannys. Not the other way around. And you'd get better results from a b18 block than a b16...

well..when i bought the car it had a complete gsr set up with a turbonetics gen 3 kit on it but my mechanic i took it to ripped me off n got me to sell the kit for a block and i ended up w/ a si block..i wanted a gsr but thats "all he could find".. but i heard that the ls tranny is really good for a turbo set up.. but worse comes to worse my friend has a Si who is lookin for a ls tranny I could just swap him and get the Si tranny. I would really love to get my hands on a B20 and run that route but the Navy only pays so much ya know

1. Research more
2. no "H" in vtec
3. Get a larger block
4. Ditch the LS tranny unless you are making SERIOUS HP

yea and the mechanic turned out to be my cousin after everything was said and done. I was pissed.. I have a friend scoping the place out to steal my body kit back..and we are trying to peice together some parts. If anyone gots a LS engine willing to sell for not too pricey let me know.
