Weird Steering wheel vibration...please help!
Hey guys...
I just installed my summer wheels tonight. Well, I KNOW that these wheels were straight when I took them off last year.
I started up the car, and backed out. Steering wheel felt a little different, but no big deal.
As soon as I started forward, however, the steering wheel shakes from left to right constantly - at any rate of speed.
Does anyone have any suggestions? It started ONLY after I put the wheels on.

make sure all of the lug nuts are tight on, then after about 50 miles make sure their tight again and you should be good. I had a similar problem i thought it would be the wheel bearing or axle but it was just the wheel.
this may not be in the subject but make sure tire rotation is facing the correct way too . hope taht helps.

get your tires balanced.....that is probably your problem.....but it could be an alignment issue....i have the same problem, and I know I need new tires, alignment, and balance and rotation, and my car will jar you loose at 70

Thanks for your help. I did confirm that the tire rotation is correct.
When you say that it was just the wheel, what do you mean? How did you fix it?
Tomorrow i'm going to jack up the front and retorque the lugnuts.

Not sure My right front wheel acted up and tugged my steering wheel to the right when i starting moving. So i just too the rim off hand tightened, then impacted the bitches in and it worked fine.
If it persists after that fix explain more in depth, such as if you have bad axles etc, anything suspension wise and we can help you out. Good luck.
