steering wheel jerks when I stop
ever since I put my new wheels on my car, 17" Konig Prophets with Kumho Supra tires, the car seems to randomly jerk every once in a while. I went and got an alignment, but that didn't seem to fix anything, when I notice the problem most, its when I apply the brakes, like at a stop sign, as my slowing down the steering wheel turns on its own. Has anyone ever experienced this after putting on new, bigger wheels?
thanks

i believe this is a common consequence of getting a WIDER wheel size.
i don't think the diameter of the wheel has anything to do with it.
with a wider wheel, the wheel will want to conform to the surface of
the road. this will make your steering wheel want to turn one way or
another.
of course, it is only most drastic at slower speeds...
just keep a firm grip on the wheel

Sounds more to me like maybe one of your calipers is trying to stick. May want to take the wheels back off and have a look at the brakes themselves. Look at the pads and see if they are worn evenly.

yeah, sounds like possibly a caliper problem but I'm leaning mainly to warped rotors.
especially if you really only feel it when you brake. thats the hallmark of warped rotors. you'll always have a little wobble from large wheels/low profile tires though.
