Unbalanced Wheels??
Why risk it? While it all cost no more then 5 buxs per wheel, your steering wheel will shake and once you go past like 65-80mph your steering wheel will shake also. I dont think it'll affect anything internally but get it balaced asap and you'll feel sooo much better and its not that expensive.
Yea not much will be affected, but you should probably get it balanced.
From my understanding, an unbalanced wheel means there is a heavy spot on the tire, and when that spot goes towards the ground it goes with more impact causing a vibration in your steering wheel.
