quick question... lsvtec ecu
I've went through like 11 pages in the search. I probably missed the answer int here somewheres.
anyways.. ls/vtec.. obd 2..b18b block, 2000 sir head complete...
can i use the obd2 sir ecu? even if its for a 1.6 liter?

well, according to your sig, it looks like this might be going into a 01 LS. Yes, if you wanted to, you would be perfectly safe running an obd2B b16a ecu. For tuning purposes though, I'd recommend converting to obd1 and get a chipped ecu from there.
