Default Which seal to bore out for DSM injectors?? Hard Plastic or Rubber or both???

I have asked and searched before and searched again tonight. I went to install my DSM Black top 450's and when I took out the factory ones there was a rubber seal and a plastic one that was under the rubber one. I went ahead and bored out the rubber one a lil and it fits nice around the injector now. But do I need the Hard Plastic seal/ring or no? Everyone talks about the rubber seals getting bored but I never heard about the Hard plastic ones. Let me know thanks

go to a junkyard and get some seals out of an ex civic. That way they are just one big rubber seal instead of (2) hard and soft.I had the 2 on each injector as well so i just tossed em and got the thick rubber ones from the junky! works like a charm.

you need the civic ones, and they don't carry them, only napa does I believe... also just dremel out the bottom rubber seal.

On mine there is a soft rubber seal on the top and a hard plastic "I believe" seal on the bottom. So I just go to NAPA and tell them I need new seals for a civic EX? What year?

Are you saying I just get the new seals from NAPA and Just dremel out the lower seal thats it?

Honda carries them....but they're about $11 per seal. Junkyard would be your best bet.

Ok are there two seals or just one? in the kit... I'll go around and find out who carries them today but just want to prevent a leak and a bad install....
