I have a '90 Accord EX sedan. I have been looking around for different parts and I have the option of a F22A1 or F22A4 when searching for parts.

How do I determine which engine I have? Is there a label somewhere on the car that tells this?

The engine code is stamped on the the block right underneith the distributor cap
Im pretty sure that it an a4 but not sure

 

its right on the block and if you cant find it get the VIN number and it will tell everything about your car ie. engine, year, where it was made, and type of vehicle....there are alot of threads that will tell you what the numbers mean....

 

If it's an ex it will be an a4.
