i have a 1992 honda civic cx hatchback and i noticed when i do hard turns or go on hills i smell fuel when my window is down.i jacked up my car and looked underneath thank god it wasnt comming from the fuel tank.looks more like it dripping down from the filler neck area.wanted to see if it was something common or if you guys have this similar problem?just wanted to see what it could be.also is it hard to drop the gas tank?thanks in advance!

 

gas tank is not that hard but its also not fun.

 

the tank is easy as hell to drop. Just removed the backseat and pull off the cover plate. Then unconnect the plug and 2 lines. then remove the filler tubes and loose the nuts to drop the strap (try to do it with not much gas in tank AND use a jack or something to lower it down)

how hard is it to replace the fuel line that goes from the filter to the tank? and where can i get it bent already?
