I have this hummin noise comin from under the dash area. I cant find its origin, I think it also is part of a big problem of my power leak also which drains the battery overnight. I was wondering if anyone has had this lovely hummin noise. Its only when the car is completely off. It also goes away when i plug my alarm in, the instant i disconnect it, it will begin humming again. It also stops after turnin the key to the ON position. NO clue why.

PLEASE HELP.

I'm goin to have to do a complete break down to fix this.

my car also drains but not over night to find the problem is pretty hard what you would have to do is have a pretty good ammeter or amp meter and connect it to your negative battery cable and your - battery post then begin to pull fuses if you see the amps drop thats probably the circuit thats killing your battery it probably has a big short in it, then you would have to just go about and look through that whole circuit hope that helps if not I would just have a proffesional technician look at it.
