OKay here is my question. I'm sure someone here has the answer to it. On American version 1998 Civic EX's the alternator has a 4 pin connector. However for some stupid reason Canadian Honda Civic EX (actually SI's in Canada) have a 3 pin output. What is the extra wire for? Anyone know. I would like to just get a 4 pin connector and make it work since no companies make a High Output 3 pin alternator.
