You can also get the cat from "SMSP" on this board. His name is Dave. Good guy!

Hi!

I've installed two of Dave's Carsound cats with Zero problems. He modifies the cat by welding on whatever O2 bungs and mounting flanges you need.

He also makes an adapter to go from the back of the cat to smaller sized exhaust system.

He can also supply muffler and resonators as well as a 2.5 inch exhaust system. GOOD STUFF. a no compromise system which can be fairly quiet.

Talk to Dave!

John

...sorry Mike, I haven't talked to you about business... you seem to be a stand up guy from what I hear and no one I know is bitching about your pricing...

...the last time I talked to Dave, he was charging $185 for the 2.5"(I forget the model) cat, including donut/gasket/bolts...

...do you include the donut gasket as well?

I don't want to get into a price war with any supplier, especially Mike, and I haven't posted prices for a long time because the last time I did, I got slapped, but those guidelines seem to be a little more laxed now (which I think is great). So here are my prices.

2-1/4" or 2-1/2" OBD I (no bungs) cats are $145
2-1/4" or 2-1/2" OBD II (one bung) cats are $165
3" cats are more based on application
Hi Temp Graphite 3 bolt gasket $4
JDM or 2-1/2" donuts $15

The cat price includes all the hardware for installation and all you reuse are the springs.
