Default How do YOU use your staging brake?

I'm just wondering what the proper way to use it. I've heard that you put it in 1st, hold in the lever, rev to where you want, then release the lever when the light turns green.?. I don't know. I just want to know the correct way to do it.

Just release it when you launch (ie. let out the clutch), unless you've got an auto trans or something...

Same here(It's the same concept as a staging brake though). I use mine to pump the car forward until it is staged and then pull up harder. When it's time to go, I let the E-brake down, let out the clutch and grab onto the shifter (all in one smooth motion)
