Default Ahh I love Summit Racing! PICS

I got some goodies too install while I'm getting my head rebuilt.

I love summit soooo much. They always have stuff in stock, takes just 30 seconds to order online, and its here in 3 days. Great buisness...

This should take care of the missing issues I was having...

And I decided too do away with the crappy 14 year old stock fuel feed line. I think it is definetly a restriction too the fuel system, and I don't really trust a 14 year old hose with the 600hp that I'm after. This is a full 6an line from the stock port on the tank to an aeromotive filter. Then 8an too the fuel rail. Now if I can only get the GE fuel rail I bought from rOby...

I will also be installing a GE scatter sheild as well as a SFI pully from Tom. I can't wait to get it back on the road...errr track.

Did I say oil? It was around 200 with all the fittings + filter + 15ft hose.

However, I did of course buy all my oil lines/fittings from them...

The stock banjo bolt is 12mmx1.25. Summit has a 90deg fitting that has the right size thread on it with a crush washer and O ring. The other side is 6an...so it fits perfectly!

Yeah...no need to replace it really. Hose is still in decent shape, it has no pressure, and it flows fine.

Now for an update:

I just installed the fitting on the fuel tank with no problems. However, I've descovered a few problems with the summit 6an hose. It Won't work with the earls hose ends that I have. The SS braiding just gets pushed back as I try to install the sleeve. I guess I have to order some Earls hose. The summit stuff looked appealing since it was cheaper, but I think it only works with they're hose ends. Kinda sucks that they don't tell you that. That would be my only complaint about summit thus far...haha

Bryson,

Have you put hose ends on braided line before? That **** is seriously hard at first...one of the few times that I can remember a car part pissing me off to the point of wanting to kill someone. LOL

yeah I was going to say the same thing...... any AN lines can be used with any of the AN fittings...... its hard to get use to putting them on though... I know I had the same thing happen to me when I started using SS lines..... what HP do you have? the digital 6 might not be enough if your over 450 HP we have had problems with it thats why I am running the Digital 7 with the HVC II coil but its $$$$ good luck on everything though

Yeah, I've done it like 10 times.

I've used Earls hose with earls ends, as well as aeroquip hose and ends. This Summit hose is just kinda crappy, and a little bit too large. Even with the hose all lubed up it still won't fit in the sleeve.

Oh I also have a question about the Digi 6 if anyone knows.

The illistrations for the Honda setup don't show the ignition turn on lead being used. Do I use it or no? It shows it being used with the Chevy setups...but not the honda.

No. I'm just using a standard Walbro HP 255lph intank. The whole goal with this setup is that it is easy too install, yet does away with the crappy CRX fuel feed line.

i'd have to agree with all of you guys. summit has been around for awhile and has always proven to be the greatest as far as service goes. ive never had to wait more than 5 days for something and i've ordered from them numerous times.

Hrmmm...I really don't have a goal. hehe.

But if I would have to pick a number, anything OVER 500 and I'll be happy...

What I'm really after are some mid 10s.

Update on the parts:
- I got the Digi 6 installed. However, I couldn't find any good spot too mount it... So I had to resort to the most obvious place there is...right on the front of the glove box. I figure this is still a good spot since it will be a snap to make any last minute changes if I need too, and it has plenty of airflow.
- I was able to get the Summit ss hose to fit the earls hose ends. It just took a little more time and some k/y jelly...hehe Fuel setup looks great. now I just need to rewire the pump.
