Default Fuel Cuts-off AT 2550-2700 rpm

Hi Guys, i read the forum most days, i have spent the last 2DAYS searching any link that can help me, but i have found none.

This is my setup:
FULLY BUILT H22
9.1 comp
JE Pistons
Crower Rods
Type S cams
port and polish head,
5 angle valve job
Crower dual valve springs
Crower tit valve spring retainers
Ferrea valves
Prodrive Billet oil pump
FULL RACE drag manifold
PRECISION SC61 turbo
tail 44mm wastegate 7.5 PSI spring
vertiacl flow intercooler
1000 precision fuel injectors NOT INSTALLED YET!
AEM fuel rail
AEM fuel pressure reg
AND THE LIST GOES ON. POCKET ROCKET RACING BUILT MY MOTOR.

Any way, i need to run my motor in. No more than 4000rpm and 80%throttle, try not to hit boost to hard! i have 1000miles to run. and ive done all i can, ffuel pressure us about 32-36psi on idle.have a VAFC, check valves (missing link went bad), and FMU, stock ECU, all installed! car idles GREAT!!!
but in any gear at 2550-2700rpm it cuts fuel! im running AEM wide band too.
i have thought about putting the 1000CC IN to see what happens! i have taken negitive 30% in some places with the VAFC
can any one help me please

waiting to get the EMS back from AEM (had problems). Obviously we tuned this car very conservative for initial break in. Pulled 7.5 degrees of timing out and tuned to 13.0-13.5 at part throttle. The injectors (stock 345 CC) shouldn't max out b4 3900 (I think anyways). They definately arent going to max out at 2500 RPM. The car just seems to shut off at around that RPM and the wideband goes off the scale. The only thing the car will do after that is idle. Then after a few minutes later it can be driven again. There are no check engine lights (no codes either). Its very strange. Come on experts where are u guys at?

Sounds to me like the check valves aren't working.

If the MAP sensor senses boost, you will go into limp mode. Doesn't always throw a CEL either. Try resetting the ECU, then attempt to reach cruising speed without going into boost.

the motor is brand new, not RUN IN, so im not hitting boost, nor full throttle

thanks for adding that jeremy !!!! i was meant to add that to, but the computer at the libary only lets me have 30min.

i hace checked the valves, they work. if the ecu sends the car into limp mode, would that not read RICH, instead of reading SUPER lean.[QUOTE=beepy]Sounds to me like the check valves aren't working.

Don't know about your car, but when mine goes into limp mode, it just reduces the rev limit, so that fuel is cut at a lower RPM.

so if the ecu reads boost, the motor will go into LIMP mode, right? but does this mean that the rev limiter is brought down ti 2700rpm (where the ECU first reads boost)? i know that a honda rev limiter cuts fuel when you hit the limit. so this might count for my fuel cut maybe? wot do you guys think!

im going to reset the ECU today, put more check valves in, and try play with the fuel pressure.

ONE more thing, can i use a AFC with check valves and FMU? i know the AFC changes the MAP signal you see, so i thought maybe this might be something to do with it aswell!

thanks

if you put the 1000cc in with the vafc the car would be so rich it wouldnt even idle... i had 550s with an fmu and vafc, and even leaned out to the max the car was rich as hell...

in LIMP mode the car will run super rich and not rev past 3000rpm. That might also be why the wideband goes off the scale. the ECU just cuts for for a bried moment making a lean condition

So can I use VAFC to adjust the fuel with FMU and check valves?
I am using 345cc stock 822 injectors idle air fuel ratio is 13.6 to 14.9 at 21psi fuel pressure.
